Orchestra is fun! But of course, it’s a lot more than just that. You should join if you are interested in the following:

  • Learn how to read music and also learn how to play the violin, viola, cello, and bass

  • Meet your Fine Arts college requirement

  • Perform at concerts and festivals

  • Field trips to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, etc.

  • Build confidence and gain leadership experience

  • Be a part of something bigger than yourself - join our orchestra family!

Can I join orchestra without any experience?

The Aliso Niguel High School Orchestra program welcomes all students regardless of skill level. If you don’t have any experience we will work with you every step of the way!

What if I don’t have my own instrument?

No problem! We have school instruments that you can loan. There is also the option to rent instruments from local music stores.

What is the monetary commitment for orchestra?

We ask all orchestra members to donate an optimal amount for the entire school year. This money is needed to support and enhance the experiences of all of our students and allow them to experience all the events planned for the school year.
