Family
We are a second family for our orchestra students. We are an inclusive group that provides a safe place for our students to grow and thrive
Leadership
Students have multiple opportunities to build leadership skills. We have multiple orchestra officer and section leader positions available. Leadership is a skill like any other and we can only grow as leaders when we have the chance to practice and learn.
Bonding
The relationships that we built in orchestra are extremely important to us. We are not just students and teacher, we are a second family. There are multiple events and activities throughout the year that allow students to build strong relationships with each other.
Professionals
We are professionals in the making. Orchestra students learn the important of punctuality, collaboration, grit, and responsibility. The skills that students develop in preparation for concerts will serve students as they transition into college and work settings.
Passion
We are passionate about our craft and strive to improve with each rehearsal. We are committed to learning and improving. We are passionate about making music together. Being able to make music on your own is a great feeling, but when many musicians come together to create an orchestra or a symphonic orchestra - the feeling is indescribable. All of us become part of something greater than ourselves and we want to share our passion with our family, friends, and community.
